About Us

Bandy is a FREE online kids classifieds website. It is FREE to buy and sell all babies and childrens items, clothing, toys, furniture, books, anything. Buy and sell pre-loved and new childrens items all in one easy place. Bandy is Australia wide and is FREE to register.

How do I sign up?

Simply click the "Register" button.

What is a username?

A username is your alias on the site. Your username is what other members will see when they access your profile instead of your real name. Username should be in a Alpha-numeric form but at least 4 characters not exceeding 15 characters. Usernames must not have spaces or special characters such as (@--#%^&*+). If your username is taken try putting some numbers after the name (example: John123).

Photographs

How do I rezise my Photographs

Bandy Kids has allowed photographs of up to 5mb to make it easy for you. However its good practice to re-size your photos prior to loading them to make your ad load quicker.

 

There are many ways and programs for re-sizing photo, here are a few

 

1. Pic Resize - is a free website where you can load your photos, resize and edit them easily using their online tools then download the new re-sized photos. http://www.picresize.com

 

2. Use an existing photograph software. If you have Microsoft Office installed on your computer it is most likely you have Microsoft Office Picture Manager, go to Start /All Programs / Microsoft Office / Microsoft Office Tools. If Microsoft Office Program is there open it. Follow the instructions on this Video to re-size your photograph.

 

3. Download IrfanView a free graphic viewer that has a simply photograph re-size feature. Simply open your image with the program, click on image in the menu barand select resize.

Postage

Can I offer postage for my item for sale

YES, unlike other classified websites there are no restrictions with regards to offering postage for your items. You can specify the costs in your add or organise directly with purchaser during the sale. Seller and Purchasers organise at their own risk and Bandy Kids is not involved or held responsible for this process. Postage is completely up to the sellers discretion.

How much does it cost to place an ad

Bandy Kids is free to register and free to buy and free to sell. There are upgrade options for your  ads and payment is made via paypal.
